We are currently recruiting for a Hardwood Sales Assistant to join our Covers Trade Centre, Chichester.

The successful applicant will be required to accurately take orders over the phone or sales office counter. You will be required to calculate and devise quotes for Hardwood Products including machined items. Responsibilities to include:

• Accurately taking orders over the phone or sales office counter.

• Calculating and devising quotes for Hardwood products.

• Using the computerised quotation systems to quote for customers and to follow up quotations.

• Ensuring a prompt and courteous replies to all enquiries.

• Liaising with representatives regarding orders and quotations.

• Liaising with Suppliers, Internal Transport Department and the Mill regarding availability and delivery of orders.

• You must have excellent customer service skills together with a good telephone manner and the ability to work well within a team. Previous experience in a sales/retail environment is desirable.​

Hours of work are:

Monday to Thursday from 07.30am to 17.00pm with a 30 minute break for lunch and Friday from 07.30am to 16.00pm with a 30 minute break for lunch .
