Situated on the same site as Covers Timber and Builders merchants, Covers Home Ideas welcomes retail and trade customers with everything needed to give our customers ideas for their home DIY projects. This includes stunning lifestyle kitchen and bathroom showrooms, a dedicated flooring section, DIY products, eco centre, decor shop and garden shop.

The successful applicant will be required to serve customers efficiently on our sales counter, offering advice and assistance, cash handling and stock replenishment. Experience of working in a retail environment and strong customer service skills is essential. Knowledge of DIY products is desirable however full training will be given to the right candidate.

You will also be required to assist with other duties within the branch including restocking the shop, stock control and assisting in the yard, so previous forklift experience is advantageous.

​

You must be sales driven, have excellent customer service skills together and the ability to work well within a team. Previous experience on a trade counter / and or knowledge of building materials is desirable however full training will be given.

​

Hours of work are Monday to Saturday from 07.30am to 17.00pm with a 1 hour break for lunch and with a rota day off during the week
