You will be required to proactively manage the Sales Counter and the Counter Staff, to ensure that our customers are served by the team in a pleasant, professional and efficient manner. Leading by example and with a hands on approach, you will be responsible for ensuring that all staff are knowledgeable about products, are kept motivated and deliver a high level of service to our customers.

You will be advising customers on our vast range of products, negotiating prices and building relationships with customers.

You will represent the branch and assist with the growth of the business, working as part of a team to exceed sales targets.

​

You must have excellent customer service skills, the ability to lead and work well as part of a team, a good knowledge of timber and building materials and have the ability to drive to increase sales. Previous experience in a Supervisory Position within a Builders Merchants is essential.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday from 07.30am to 17.00pm with a one hour break for lunch
