ADMINISTRATOR / SALES ASSISTANT

Horsham Depot | Full Time | 45hpw

Covers are the Souths leading family owned Timber and Builders Merchants with 16 Branches in Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey and Kent.

We are currently recruiting for an Administrator / Sales Assistant to join our team at our Horsham Depot.

Based on the Sales Counter, you will become an integral part of a busy branch dealing with sales enquiries. You will be advising customers on our vast range of products, negotiating prices and building relationships with customers.

You will represent the branch and assist with the growth of the business, working as a team to exceed sales targets. You will ensure that the needs of the customers are dealt with quickly and efficiently whilst providing a service that ensures that customers return on a regular basis.

Other duties to include reconciling daily banking, collating invoices / delivery notes, monitoring stock levels and assisting with stock counts other general clerical tasks.

Applicants should be sales driven, professional, able to communicate at all levels and able to work well as part of a team. Previous office experience, trade counter or stock control experience is preferable however full training will be provided to the right candidate.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday from 07.00am to 17.00pm with a one hour break for lunch.
