We are recruiting an experienced HGV Technician to join our in-house workshop maintaining our own fleet of commercial vehicles.

This is a Monday–Friday, days-only role with no night shifts or weekend work, offering a stable and predictable working environment.

Unlike many HGV roles, you will be working on a local, well-maintained fleet within our own workshop — no long-distance travel or constant roadside pressure.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Servicing, inspections and routine maintenance of HGV/LGV vehicles

• PMI inspections and MOT preparation

• Fault finding and repairs (mechanical and basic electrical)

• Maintaining accurate service and compliance records

• Supporting the upkeep of a clean and safe workshop

 

About You

• Experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles

• Knowledge of inspections, servicing and MOT prep

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• HGV licence (desirable but not essential)

 

Hours

• Monday to Friday

• 07:00 – 17:00

• 47.5 hours per week

• No night shifts
