Our Timber Mill at Covers headquarters in Chichester boasts a fast modern production sawmill where we produce a vast amount of different types of machined sections out of a host of different timber species.

We cut, we profile, we prime, we laminate, we lacquer we do almost everything to almost every type of wood. No two days are ever the same but they fly by because we are so busy.

​

We are now recruiting for a Mill Assistant to join the team. You will be required to assist our wood machinists on our vast collection of woodworking machinery.

​

Ideally you will have experience of using woodworking machinery and/or forklift operation, however full training will be provided to the right candidate.

​

This is a great opportunity if you want to become a proficient machine operator as you will be required to learn from your colleagues, as well as undertaking comprehensive training by our external training provider.

​

Applicants must be a team player, have a willingness and desire to learn, be self motivated and health and safety focussed.

​

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday from 07.00am to 16.30pm with a 30 minute break for lunch and Fridays from 07.00am to 15.30pm with a 30 minute break for lunch.
