We are ideally seeking a qualified Forklift /Driver Instructor to deliver in house forklift training and HIAB training around the Covers Group.

Candidates must have a proven experience in operating a variety of fork lift trucks and cranes, a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel, self-motivation the ability to use your own initiative, be a great communicator, the ability to instruct and inspire others and an awareness of the importance of Health and Safety.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a personal tutor to groups of learners in order to train, review, monitor and assess learners.

• Provide an engaging and supportive learning environment.

• Keep and maintain accurate learner records.

• Assist management by ensuring that your paperwork is accurate, legible and meets the requirements laid down by the relevant awarding organisations

 

Experience & Requirements:

• Valid Instructor / Examiner certificate is required to deliver this role

• A good knowledge of IT

• Experience of coaching/mentoring people with mixed abilities from novice operators through to experienced and renewal candidates

• Willingness and ability to travel to Covers / Nyes Depots

• Ideally hold a CAT C licence and HGV Driving exeprience

 

Hours of work are Monday to Friday from 07.30am to 17.00pm with a one hour break for lunch
